Mandy Alvis has 10 years of experience with biological, ecological, and environmental projects that specialize in regulatory compliance.  Mandy has been Project Manager of AquAeTer’s telecommunication projects since 2008.  She has been involved with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (project management, report writing, and investigation), NEPA Screening and Reporting (project management, report writing, and investigation), Environmental Assessments, Informal Biological Assessments, Health and Safety plans, water quality fieldwork, groundwater well sampling, soil cataloging and sampling, habitat and species studies, and wetlands delineations and permitting.  Mandy has also assisted with several laboratory studies including aquatic toxicity testing, long-term BOD studies, and bench-scale studies.  She also has experience with writing and preparing National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, hazardous waste annual reporting, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).

This is Mandy’s first term as Chapter Representative for the newly formed TNAEP.  She assisted the TNAEP with obtaining 501c status and the State registrations.  She is currently assisting with organizing and planning Chapter meetings and facilitating information between the national and local associations.

Mandy is a recent NAEP member.  She appreciates the exposure to trends in her environmental profession, as well as, other environmental disciplines.  She also enjoys meeting other professionals, sharing ideas, and advancing the environmental focus in Tennessee.
