The Chapel has re-opened after a year-long renovation which included repairs and renovation to ensure that the Chapel retains the look and feel of its more than 80 year life. The Sarah P. Duke Gardens offer quiet spaces to explore and enjoy the outdoors. Another Duke attraction, the Duke Lemur Center is the world’s largest and most diverse collection of lemurs – earth’s most threatened group of mammals – outside of Madagascar. The Duke Lemur Center advances science, scholarship, and biological conservation through interdisciplinary research, community-based conservation and public outreach.
