Environmental Practice Call for Papers  - Air Quality

Air quality affects every individual in the world. In the United States, air quality issues are in the press daily, as well as in the political arena. Concerns over public health issues emanating from air quality and effects of greenhouse gas emissions are on the forefront. Regulatory changes are being proposed and litigation is the norm. How does the environmental professional navigate the ever changing landscape?

The March 2017 issue of Environmental Practice will be devoted to the subject of Air Quality. We welcome a variety of perspectives from scholars, practitioners, and students in a variety of fields.

Specific topics that could be addressed include, but are not limited to:

  • Regulatory changes
  • Greenhouse gas emissions
  • Innovative approaches to impact assessment and mitigation
  • Climate change
  • Industry case studies
  • Remediation and The Clean Air Act – technical and regulatory strategies
  • Communication between decision-makers and the public
